There was a time I doubted I would ever make it here again. God had other plans.

I Love My Bug, but...

I wouldn't not make a good testimonial for VW. I love my bug, but it would have been nice to know that owning one, means visiting an auto shop more than I would care to.

My Promise to God

I woke up early feeling as fragile as I had the night before. As I sat in quiet mediation I made a promise to God, that I would not hate every step I took towards the lab in preparation of my chemo but instead I would give thanks that he would be right beside me during the long walk down the hall.

I did as I promised and by the time I walked out of the infusion center, I was feeling stronger.

Mayan Mocha

I took advantage of a good day at work and light traffic and stopped at a little gem I recently uncovered, thanks to the my sweet daughter-in-law.

I really went for the Mayan Mocha, but I enjoyed the grilled chicken salad immensely, too.

All Good Stuff

The pie, the coffee, the conversation and the company. It was all good stuff.
