Hit or Miss

Disappointed that I forgot my "real" camera so had to make do with solely my iPhone for Thanksgiving. I was pleased with the number of good shots I was able to get because lately it's been hit or miss, mostly miss.

This was by far one of my favorites.

Less than 24-Hours Away

Getting my Writing On

Started my morning off right with breakfast at Kimmie's Coffee Cup.

Got some writing in since I went solo. It felt soooo good.

Babysitting

Today I got to do something I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do. Babysit my little sweethearts while mommy and daddy went to the movies.

Babysit all by myself. It was success!

Some Days

I have a love/hate relationship with my iPhone. I love it when I rock the shot and hate it when they come out crappy.

Today they all came out crappy. Some days are like that.

Spent the morning enjoying their company before they headed off to Disneyland in celebration of the little guy's third birthday.

The Let Down

Driving home today from radiation, the sky was filled with a field of hazy clouds. I made a mental note to self. The sunset will be especially beautiful. So sure of it, I got in my car right before sunset to watch the show.

It was a bit of a let down.

A Little Bit of Normalcy

Woke up early despite a restless night of sleep. The plan for today was to meet Barbara at my favorite coffee shop and pretend things were back to normal.

All in all, it was a very good day.

Cravings

There are times when after all the treatments, I just need something sweet to make the medicine go down. Today was one of those days.

I wish I could say it hit the spot, but it wasn't exactly what I hoped it would be.

What I Saw in the Sky

God put the sun in the sky and then set it down to create a masterpiece of exquisite colors for all who desire to see.

At the Grocery Store

Finally, after over two weeks, I headed out on my own and made a trip that required me to get out of the car.

It was hard, but liberating.
